IMPORTANT INFORMATION 2018 Training Sessions

The Officer Kangaroos JFC is excited to announce it has created the OKJFC Academy in conjunction with Dynamic Footy Skills.  It will be a program that will mirror the DFS designed and delivered program to the North Melbourne Football Club Junior Academy.

Our program is open to all OKJFC players in competitive age groups for 2018 (U11 to U17) providing you have registered (and paid a deposit or paid in full) with the club for the 2018 season.

You can register your child on Sunday 4 February before the first session and participate that day, please ensure you arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time so registration can be completed and your child can be on the ground ready.  (For players new to the club ensure you bring a copy of a birth certificate).  For any enquiry regarding registration please contact our registrar Kate Bailey on registrar@okjfc.com.au

There are four sessions on Sunday’s commencing Sunday 4 February through to Sunday 25 February 2018.

Players will be split into their 2018 age appropriate group (each group has a name) and the sessions will be lead by a Dynamic Footy Skills coach in conjunction with our OKJFC 2018 appointed coaching staff.

Important Details:

All dates: Sunday February 4, 11, 18 & 25

Times: (Now confirmed)

First Session: 1:45pm-3:15pm: Under 11 (Snooks squad), 13 (Gilbert) & 14’s (Porter), then

Second Session: 3:30pm-5pm: Under 12 (boys & girls/Pipicelli & Quinn ), U15 (Tivendale) & 17’s (Moylan).

Parents, please ensure players are at the ground and ready to train 15 mins before the scheduled start time.

Important Note: For the first session on 4 February players will need to collect their academy training shirt from inside the social rooms at Heatherbrae.  We suggest you arrive 30-45 minutes before the scheduled start time of your training session to ensure we have all players with their shirts and on the ground and ready to go before the scheduled start time. 

Venue: Heatherbrae Recreation Reserve

What to wear: Blue footy short (home) where possible, a t-shirt, singlet or footy jumper (An Academy training shirt is provided and must be worn), footy boots or runners, hat and sunscreen.

What to bring: a drink bottle
